This is actually the first miniature that I painted "professionally" and sold on eBay. I never did get great photos of it, and these are a bit washed out and don't do it great justice. Almost every part of this miniature displays at least three levels of shade-through-highlight, the exception being some of the flat black areas (like the gun and armour) which received "sharp" light grey highlights and the gems (which got the typical "gem highlights"). I tried the keep the basing simple and the colour scheme "on codex" to appeal to a wider customer base. This was painted in 2002(?) specifically for the Eye of Terror Campaign.
